Hello, let’s go on a trip, Android watches are here to equip!
But don't get too excited, because it's only in an experimental beta version for now.
We've heard your call for the ability to track steps on Android, so you can try your luck. But
based on my experience, I must warn you that if you combine products from different
manufacturers, it will not be easy to set up and even if you do, we do not guarantee that it will
work quickly and reliably.

How does it work?
We decided to use Google Health Connect technology, which works as a kind of hub
where various devices (watches, rings, etc.) and their apps record various health data such as
steps, heart rate, sleep, etc. Our app can now transfer this data from Health Connect to our
game. So if you have bad data in Health Connect (for example, multiple apps are recording your
steps or nothing is recording anything), that bad data will be transferred to Walking Planet.
The Samsungs (phone and watchs on Android 14) are fine, the others are out of warranty. But nothing stops you from trying and
experimenting. Thanks for your patience 👍!

General instructions for other phones
1. Make sure you have all Android updates and watch and step tracking apps installed
2. Install Health Connect on your phone from Google Play
3. Connect your watch to your phone
4. Make sure your watch app can write data to Health Connect. If it can't, you'll need to get
the steps from your watch in some roundabout way. Such as the Zepp app for the
Amazfit Bip 3 Pro which also can't do this, so you'll need to install Google Fit, which the
Zepp app can write to. And then the Google Fit app can write to Health Connect, which
Walking Planet draws from (Is that crazy? Yes - it's android ;)
5. If you've already managed to transfer using magic, spells, sacrificing unicorns under a
full moon, etc. Steps from your watch to Health Connect, congratulations, you're really
good. Now I recommend checking what other apps are still writing steps there, as
there may be duplication)

Known Issues
1. Some apps, such as Zepp, only transfer steps from the watch and don't count steps from
the phone. But Google Fit counts steps from your phone. But Zepp can't synchronize
backwards, so it can happen that if you charge your watch and walk only with your
phone, you will have 3000 steps on Google Fit, 3000 steps in Walking Planet, but only
1500 steps on your watch. Now you put your watch on your wrist and leave your phone
at home. You walk (with just the watch) another 1000 steps and go back to your phone.
In the Zepp app, +1000 steps will be added, so you see 2500 steps in Zepp, but in
Google Git it will be

2. Samsung Health cannot be installed on my xiaomi phone, or rather it can be installed,
but I cannot log in with my Samsung account, which results in Samsung Health not
writing data to the Health Connection and therefore no steps are transferred to
Walking Planet.
